Approach Pack

Size Guide

The Ruffwear Approach Pack provides a full-day hiking pack for your dog which keeps all your essentials close by and ready for any adventures you find.

What's New?

A staple in the Ruffwear pack lineup, the Approach Pack's updates were inspired by customer feedback. More breathability and flexibility with a perforated, molded foam chassis; improved fade-resistance with new materials; updated flopper stopper system for easier use when stabilizing saddlebags; and more streamlined, refined saddlebag volumes.

STABLE GEAR CARRY

Radial cut, weight-forward saddlebags and "flopper stoppers" stabilize both pack and contents minimising the bounce for optimal comfort.

Fully Adjustable

Built around the frame of the famous WebMaster Harness the Approach Pack features five points of adjustment to help create the perfect fit.

Padded Straps

The Padded handle and girth straps offer 'even load' dispersion for controlled and comfortable lifting when your dog needs a boost.

Additional Extras

There is a vertical stash pocket for organising your gear and to store heavier items like food and water closer to dog.

Keep safe in low light with the reflective trim and take advantage of the beacon light loop by attaching a bright LED light (purchased separately).

Important Info

It’s recommended that your dog carry no more than 25% of their body weight in their dog pack. If your dog is new to dog packs, start with a light load and work up to a heavier load as your dog gets accustomed to wearing the pack.

      Additional Information

The pack is washable, simply secure all fasteners and hand wash using a mild detergent then hang to dry.

If using a pack on your dog for the first time you should ensure they are introduced to carrying loads slowly while ensuring the load is evenly distributed across both saddlebags.
