Since Christmas all we have seen on the weather forecast is talk of snow in the UK. So far nothing has appeared in Surrey.... until now!

We woke up Saturday morning to see huge, giant white flakes falling from the sky. At last!

I had to ask Albie for his permission to write this blog, because it is really meant to be about his adventures but this post is all about the fact it was Kizzies first snow! She's had to wait nearly two years before getting to see this magical white stuff that Albie loves so much.

Albie of course knew immediately what it was. He ran out in the garden straight away and turned to face us barking until we went out with him! Kizzie on the other hand... she was a little more cautious. She carefully observed what was happening from the safety of the kitchen before venturing a paw outside... she took one sniff and ran back in. It would be fair to say that Kizzie doesn't really like the cold!

Gradually though after a little encouragement from us all she ventured back out, staring up at the sky and trying to catch the falling snow in her mouth. In no time at all she was dashing around the garden, we definitely have two snow dogs!

But as quickly as it came it was gone. Just enough for her to feel it under her paws, and for Albie to chase one tiny snowball before the ground warmed and the rain came.

We all have our paws crossed for a bit more snow now though, Kizzie got the hang of it very quickly and with Albie on hand to teach her I suspect she will be an expert snowball catcher in no time!
